ToMCaT’s Area

As stated in my previous post on COSvention ’09, it was held in Boulevard Shopping Mall Kuching at 25th of July til 2nd of August, 2009. It was the first convention that is related to anime and manga in Kuching.

Swinburne Anime and Manga Society (SAMS) and I’ve Anime! were invited to be their official supporters, and please note that SAMS and I’ve Anime! were not the organiser…

Need some nice photographs with the cosplayers with better background? Please visit our photoshooting area this weekend after 4pm. Do come and visit us ya…

As stated above there, Swinburne Anime and Manga Society and I’ve Anime! are the official supporters of Cosvention ’09. Our booth is located just in front of the stage, or RasaMas. We are displaying figures as well as the live gundam workshop at our booth. So please do come and take some photos ya… XD

There are several contests will be carried on during Cosvention. They are:

Cosplay Costume Contest: 7pm, 25th – 26th July 2009 (once a day)
Cosplay Skit Contest: 7pm, 2nd August 2009

We will be providing photoshooting service next to the PizzaHut at 1st and 2nd of August 2009. Professional photographers are invited for photoshooting during that time. What you need to do is to ask the cosplayer(s) that you want to take photo with to our booth, and we will help you with the photoshooting.

So what are you waiting for? Go to Boulevard Shopping Mall (Kuching) now and experience it… XD

Hoho… There will be a Leech Party this coming Friday at 5th of June, which is tomorrow and organized by Swinburne Anime and Manga Society (SAMS).

Date: 5th June 2009 (Friday)
Time: 2.30 PM to 4.30 PM (2 hours ONLY)
Venue: Auditorium
Admission: FREE for ALL (Swinburne student and staff only)

By the way, what is a leech party?
Well, members or any other participants will share their anime, songs, games, or movies, with the others by bringing them to the party. But please note that viruses, worms, porn, and hentai or any sexually explicit and extreme or harmful media are not allowed. XD

It’s has been a decade that I didn’t talk about Swinburne Anime and Manga Society (SAMS) here. Well, SAMS is organizing an anime movie night for all Swinburne student tonight.

Wish all Swinburne student would come to the movie night ya… You can bring snacks and drinks in. But make sure you keep the environment around you clean. =D
